Fluorite/Fluorspar
We have started mechanised mining operations in the district of Loralai which has rich fluorite resources. Our fluorite mining operation is a joint venture with the Government of Balochistan through Balochistan Mineral Resources Limited, Hub Salt and local leaseholders.
We have also initiated a mineral processing project in Hub Industrial Trading Estate. The process will be based on the latest mineral processing technology which will add value to raw ores and make them marketable globally at better prices. The objective of the project is value addition to the raw mineral resources of Balochistan and the rest of the country.
Platinum Minings Company (Pvt) Limited Limited has become the first company in Pakistan to have initiated an integrated mining and mineral processing operation which has been acknowledged as the Greenfield project, the first of its kind in Pakistan by the Engineering Development Board. The company expects to complete installation of the plant in the year 2025.
Chromite
The Company has developed reliable supply chain for Chromite Ore from different areas of the country as well as from Afghanistan. As a first step towards value addition, a Chromite beneficiation plant is also being established in Hub Industrial Trading Estate, Balochistan, which will also be operational soon.
